I'm trying to put the garden to bed...and it's not working

I can't remember the last time I was this busy with work and things and other responsibilities. I'm struggling to get all of my garden work done, especially since it's dark by the time I get home now. It's tough to plant bulbs by the light of a lamp post.

There was also a big project (more later when I can bear to show the results) that took up many of my weekends in October. On the bright side, at least I'm not addicted to caffeine pills like Jessie.

  1. Fall gardening is such a marathon. I'll finally be done tomorrow. Maybe catching up in the spring will be easier. :o)

    1. Spring always seems easier because we have a lot of energy from being cooped up inside for months!

  2. I think we all can relate to never ending projects and no time to get them done. Especially in the fall. I still have 60 tulips to plant, and I never even ordered the ones I was looking for. Oh well. I still have a little time & there's always next year :)

    1. I have trouble with the "there's always next year" idea. I want things done now (hence my stress). Good luck planting your bulbs!

  3. Plant the bulbs first and then let all the other stuff slide! It seems like even when I get everything done in the fall there's always just as much to do in the spring lol.
I agree the time change stinks....
