What's your type?

I seem to have a type of spring-blooming flower.  I wasn't intentional about this when I've planted over the years, but seeing them all together makes me so happy. See if you can guess by the photos below:

The bees seem to like them, too.

Do you have a type of spring-blooming flower?

  1. Do you, by any chance, like the color purple? Your blooms are stunning. Like a bee flitting from flower to flower, I can't choose a favorite type but love them all.

    1. Funny you should ask :) I never realized how much I apparently like it until taking these pictures. And thank you!

  2. Count me as another blue/purple flower fan. I have a theory that bees also prefer them over all others. My lavender and bog sage are the current favorites.

    1. I like your bee theory! I had lavender once but it didn't go well. I love the scent, though, and would love to try again.

  3. If you had to pick a favorite color, purple certainly isn't a bad choice. I design my gardens with foliage and rarely pay attention to flowers which occasionally can be a problem. I'm working on a garden area right now and realized I have too much yellow. Oh well, best to just let it flow...
